Job summary

Puget Sound Pipe & Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Seattle, WA location. You will pull customer orders, perform quality checks, and use a forklift to move material to staging areas. This on-site role includes lifting up to 90 pounds and occasional local deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience in a distribution setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of pipe, valves and fittings requested.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook expected.
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick customer orders and document steps.
• Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing material.
• Inspect items for quality, quantity and damage.
• Operate forklift to move material to staging area.
• Wrap, box and palletize stock for stock or orders.
• Document actions on orders and transfers.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and sweep floors.
• Occasional driving to deliver to local customers.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet deadlines.
• Lift up to 90 pounds and work outdoors in weather.
