Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join its team in Oxnard. You will handle receiving, storing, and distributing materials, prepare customer orders, and assist with stock replenishment and intercompany transfers.

The role requires forklift certification and strong safety practices in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and 3+ years of warehouse experience, with preference for petroleum distribution

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information to customers and other employees.
• Able to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s using US currency and weight/volume.
• 3+ years warehouse experience, petroleum distribution industry experience preferred.
• Certification and ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, drum dollies, drum truck and pumps.
• HAZWOPER training (8-hour) with annual re-certification.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, and distributing material and products.
• Replenishing stock and handling will-calls (customer orders).
• Loading trailers for intercompany transfer of products.
• Prepare customer orders by assembling product on pallets.
• Read schedules and orders to determine items to move and assign locations.
• Unload bulk lubricants and record quantities received or distributed.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping per policies.
