Job summary

University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily store and warehouse operations, including order pulling, inventory movement, replenishment, and forklift work as needed. You will help keep products organized and assist customers with inquiries on-site.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic math skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment; forklift certification can be obtained through the employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain through employer.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Heavy equipment certification may require drug test where permitted by state law.

Responsibilities

• Compile customer orders and move merchandise to sales floor or customer vehicles.
• Check inventory and orders for accuracy.
• Restock show floor with product.
• Organize merchandise to company standards for easy customer shopping.
• Load out customers with correct product.
• Assist customers in finding products and answering questions.
• Operate a forklift and other heavy equipment as required.
• Assist in other areas of the store when needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Follow all company safety processes and procedures.
