Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Richmond, VA location. You will prepare customer orders, unload/load transfer trucks, check in materials, and keep the warehouse stocked and organized to maintain our position as the area’s electrical distributor of choice.

Responsibilities include pulling stock, cutting wire, cross-dock deliveries, will-call handling, and enforcing safety and accuracy with minimal supervision. Forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Good attendance and punctuality history.
• Ability to perform accurate work and pay close attention to details.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Must be flexible and able to multi-task regularly.
• Forklift use will be required.

Responsibilities

• Pull stock and organize customer orders.
• Pull and cut wire as needed.
• Unload and load CLS transfer trucks with forklift.
• Check, record, and stock materials.
• Prepare cross-dock deliveries.
• Handle will-call orders.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse.
• Assist coworkers when needed.
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Be punctual and work diligently, alone or with others.
• Prioritize tasks to complete throughout the day.
• Other duties as required.
