Job summary

Thomas V. Giel Garage Doors, Inc. in Gibsonia, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will handle receiving, stock processing, order picking, and stock management with on-the-job training provided.

No prior experience is required, but forklift experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. You will work in a partially climate controlled warehouse, ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Previous forklift experience or certification.
• Must have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.

Responsibilities

• Properly loading and unloading shipments
• Maintaining a neat and organized warehouse, including sweeping floors and removing trash
• Preparing customer furnish-only orders for pick-up and delivery
• Preparing orders for outgoing installation and maintenance
• Maintaining inventory tracking
• Warehouse stocking
• Communicating with team members to meet our customers’ expectations
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Assisting operations staff with various jobs and tasks as needed
• Perform light building maintenance tasks (painting, assembling shelves, etc.) as needed
• Operate a forklift regularly
