Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is hiring Warehouse Associates to receive, store, pick, pack and distribute materials within our Duluth, GA facility. You will move items from receiving to storage, assemble customer orders, and prepare pallets for shipment.

Proficiency with sit-down and reach forklift is preferred, with 6–12 months of related experience. HS diploma or GED is preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs applies; full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts is required or preferred.
• Basic safety and material handling knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Convey materials from receiving or production to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks or bins by size, type, or code.
• Fill requisitions and work orders for materials or stock items.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Mark materials with identifying information and record quantities.
• Operate forklift to move items to packing/shipping areas.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
