Ace Hardware in Olympia is hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, machinery operation, and inventory tasks. You will unload with a forklift, check shipments, and coordinate movement with the Receiving Clerk to support efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and math skills required.
• Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight with a forklift.
• Inspect product for shortages, damage, and quality.
• Verify shipments against records, invoices, or orders.
• Report receiving discrepancies to relevant staff.
• Coordinate product movement with Inventory Coordinator and Receiving Clerk.
• Maintain cleanliness of the receiving area and yard.
• Assist customers on the floor and deliver to departments as needed.
• Attend training and stay certified for equipment use (forklifts, pallet jacks, baler).
• Place special orders and manage paperwork accordingly.
