Job summary

Aramark – University of South Carolina S&E Concessions is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle receiving, ordering, packing, and inventory control in the Columbia, SC area. You will ensure accurate labeling, efficient storage, and adherence to safety and facility SOPs while operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and related equipment.

You will perform routine counts, data entry of records, and participate in site safety procedures, PPE usage, and security of assets.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Some client locations require a current valid driver’s license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products; apply FIFO inventory controls for perishables.
• Operate manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products to warehouse areas or client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and maintain logs.
• Complete administrative duties including inventory count documents and equipment inspections.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Assist in safeguarding client and company assets and engage with stakeholders as required.
