Job summary

Target's Windsor, CT distribution center is hiring for a Warehouse Worker role. You will follow safety policies, pack, load, ship, and move items, ensuring accurate processing for stores and guests.

The job requires physical tasks, basic math, reading labels, and operating handheld devices after training. Shifts run in the evenings and nights; compensation starts at 24.80/hr with potential overtime and a differential of 2.00–3.50/hr based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs frequently.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Work at heights up to 40 ft on a mezzanine where applicable.
• Read labels and tickets; operate computer systems after training.
• Must be able to understand/speak/read English; good communication.
• Willing to be trained on powered equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
• Ensure accurate processing of merchandise to our stores and guests.
• Work safely and efficiently to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Attend safety trainings and follow all safety policies.
• Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.
