Job summary

OmniCable, a leading North American redistributor of wire and cable, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Hayward, CA distribution team. The main duties include operating production equipment (Rim Drive or Re-spooler) to cut wire to length and supporting standard order fulfillment tasks.

This role requires U.S. work authorization, 18+ years old, a HS diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and a reliable team attitude with good communication.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States and 18+ years old.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; basic math skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours daily.
• Willing to work overtime/weekends; strong teamwork and communication.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/order picker to move stock and process orders.
• Inspect inbound stock and ensure PO, packing slip and bill of lading accuracy.
• Prepare shipments; verify packaging for LTL and small parcels.
• Run value-adding wire machinery for order fulfillment.
• Maintain clean, organized DC area and follow 5S standards.
