Job summary

Staples is hiring for multiple warehouse associate roles in a climate-controlled facility in Orlando, FL. The position involves operating equipment, picking, packing, receiving, returns, and shipping, with potential moves between SC1/SC2 roles as needed.

Shifts run 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday, with safety as a top priority. Eligible candidates must pass a drug screen, be at least 18, and capable of lifting up to 100 lb.

Qualifications

• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum three months related warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.
• Able to work additional hours for full-time shifts; overtime may be required.
• Able to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Must be able to lift 70-100 lbs by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes and walk/stand 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside/outside the facility as required.
• Pick products up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse.
• Unload trucks and palletize products, confirm product accuracy, resolve discrepancies and damages.
• Assist in receiving/putaway/returns and processing of shipments.
• Package and ship orders; organize and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets, load trucks.
