Job summary

Benco Dental in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Material Handler to move and distribute merchandise in our warehouse. You will stock shelves, assemble, fill and review orders, and operate the equipment safely to keep the facility organized and efficient.

This role requires a HS Diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and endurance for a standing/walking workday. We offer an attractive pay rate starting at $18/hour with potential to reach $19/hour after six months, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Warehouse environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock materials on shelves, racks, or designated storage areas.
• Assemble, fill and review orders to be shipped to customers.
• Safely operate all necessary warehouse equipment.
• Pick and pack hazardous material items per CFR49 & IATA regulations.

Your Shift:

One Shift- Monday through Friday, 9:30 am-6:00 pm

Your Pay:

Hourly rate of $18.00 per hour.

Overtime as needed.

Position Summary:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for overseeing the course of moving and distributing merchandise throughout our warehouse. Your role is an essential component in our company, as your accuracy and precision will allow our warehouses to remain organized and safe.

• Education:
  • HS Diploma/GED
• Physical:
  • Able to move/lift 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
  • Position spends 100% amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing
  • Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
