Job summary

Motive Companies, LLC is seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk to support fleet, dispatch, shipping and inventory operations at our South Gate facility. The role reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and requires organization, hands-on approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job duties include auditing daily truck inspections, coordinating fleet maintenance, managing supplies, and assisting receiving with inventory entry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience (dispatch, fleet, or inventory management preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and data-entry systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong multitasking ability and a can-do attitude.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (¡Se valora mucho que hables español!).

Responsibilities

• Audit and file daily truck inspections and report any safety or damage concerns immediately.
• Assist with small repairs (replace headlights, wipers, etc.) and coordinate fleet maintenance.
• Maintain fleet tracking, route reports, and registration information using SharePoint and Geotab.
• Manage crew supplies: track, order, organize, and maintain safety stock.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts for non-inventory items.
• Assist receiving with tagging and entering new inventory into the system.
