Job summary

American Lumper Services is hiring at our Romulus, MI location for a warehouse position. Pay rate is $19.50 per hour with a Sunday-Thursday shift starting early morning and finishing when production ends. Typical start times vary from 6am, 8am, 9am or 11am on some days, with Fridays during peak season.

Qualifications

• Must undergo a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must possess basic reading and math skills.
• Must have an eye for detail.
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs consistently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages and products from delivery trucks by hand and place them in assigned storage areas.
• Sort packages and products according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure packages and products are handled and stored safely to minimize damage.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
