Parts Authority in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator to support our distribution operations by ensuring inventory is received, stocked, and replenished accurately and efficiently. You will operate power industrial equipment to move materials, fill orders, and stock shelves on a fast-paced team.

• 1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Strong safety awareness in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products.
• Operates manual or electric carts to fill orders.
• From receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart.
• Stock items by location and quantity.
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location.

Responsibilities

• Uses power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products;
• Operates manual or electric carts in order to fill orders
• From the receiving area, scan and count items and load on cart
• Stock items appropriately by location and quantity
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves
• Check off merchandise as received
• Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet
• Assist in pulling parts during busy times
• Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders
• Miscellaneous projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience o perating power industrial equipment
• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Understanding Map Locations
• Sorting by alpha or numeric
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skillss

• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
• May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
