Job summary

Global Industrial is seeking a Warehouse Associate to fill customer orders using Cherry Picker or Reach Truck in a fast-paced facility. You will move products safely, scan RF codes, assemble orders, unload deliveries, and support inventory and returns.

Requires 1 year warehouse experience, RF scanner experience, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. A high school diploma is preferred; on-site role with potential growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with material handling equipment is required.
• Previous experience using an RF Scanner is required.
• Must be able to read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings.
• Independently able to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs on a continuous basis.
• Able to stand, walk, pull and bend 100% of the day in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck in a fast paced environment.
• Operate equipment to move product in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use RF scanner to determine products to be moved, gathered, or distributed for orders.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or belts based on routing for packing or shipping.
• Assist Receiving with unloading new arrival merchandise from trucks as needed.
• Assist inventory and returns department with day-to-day operations.
• Assemble component parts to build lockers and cabinets as required.
• Use manual, air and electrical hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck in a fast paced environment.

• Uses an RF scanner gun to determine the proper products to be moved, gathered, or distributed for completing customer orders.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves or conveyor belts based on the necessary route for either the packing station or shipping department.

Competencies and skills

• Must be proficient in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and drawings to facilitate the assembly process.
• Independently able to life products weighing up to 75 lbs on a continuous basis in a productive environment.
• Able to stand, walk, pull and bend 100% of the day on a continuous basis in a fast-paced environment.
• Reading and comprehension skills.
