Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a Warehouse I to join our team in New Jersey. You will prioritize and pick products to fill orders, stage items for loading, and safely move tires weighing up to 150 pounds.

You will help with inventory counts, damaged stock reports, and vendor returns while maintaining organization and accuracy across the warehouse. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and order pickers, data entry for inventory, and supporting daily closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree.
• 0-1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading; data entry of product numbers and inventory accuracy.
• Assist in administrative tasks and warehouse closing procedures.
• Compile and submit reports on damaged/outdated stock, over/under shipments, and vendor returns.
• Load and unload delivery trucks; handle tires and heavier items through rolling or team lifting.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely with required licenses.
• Organize warehouse stock by product line and space for overflow.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks; keep floors and bathrooms tidy.
• Prioritize and pick materials for order fulfillment and staging for loading.
• Verify accuracy of incoming/outgoing products; report shortages to management.
