Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to join our Garden City, GA team. You will safely operate a stand-up forklift, use RF devices to sort and ship orders, and help maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Ideal candidates have 0-3 years warehouse experience, are at least 18, and can lift up to 50 lbs. The role offers regular weekday hours, competitive pay with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid state issued license is required.
High attention to detail.
Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Clean the workspace and keep the facility clean, safe, and accident free.
Adhere to all safety regulations and PPE usage, including up to 400 lbs harness.
May support counter operations and provide driver duties as needed.

Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
May be required to work at the counter as needed to support business operations and customer service.
May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities
