Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role focuses on pulling and preparing orders, pallet building, and accurate receiving of materials while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Starting pay is competitive (monitored hourly range) with overtime as needed. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass pre-employment screening; benefits and a supportive team are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience preferred in shipping, receiving, or inventory.
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand‑up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to PPE and safety regulations.
• Follow safety rules including wearing a harness with 400 lbs weight capacity.

Starting at $18/hr or more with experience!! Schedule Mon – Fri 8:30am – 5pm overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand‑up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.

• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.

Pay & Incentives

• Pay Range: - $17.41 - $26.11 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
