Job summary

Accent Millwork & Supply is a leading distributor of moldings and millwork serving Virginia, Maryland, and DC. A Warehouse Assistant is sought to support daily warehouse operations and learn a future driver role.

The role involves receiving, organizing, pulling, loading, and unloading materials, with progression into local deliveries using company trucks. A valid license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to learn warehouse and delivery operations.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail when pulling, loading, and verifying orders.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in warehouse or delivery driving is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials.
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload millwork, cabinetry, doors, and other materials.
• Verify products and quantities before orders leave the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and report damaged materials.
• Learn company delivery routes, procedures, and required documentation.
• Assist with local deliveries as trained.
• Safely operate company box trucks and vans after training.
• Provide courteous service when interacting with customers.
• Complete delivery records and vehicle inspections.
