Job summary

UGM Surfaces invites applications for a Warehouse Associate/Driver in Chicago, IL. This role combines warehouse duties with delivery responsibilities to ensure timely, accurate orders and smooth logistics operations.

You will receive, inspect, and prepare shipments, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, drive deliveries, and maintain inventory records while upholding safety and customer service standards. Standard hours and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, handling goods properly.
• Drive delivery vehicles to customers or facilities, following traffic laws.
• Maintain inventory records and shipment documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Coordinate deliveries with supervisors, drivers, and customers to resolve issues.
