Job summary

TurfHub Distributing, LLC. seeks a Warehouse Associate/Driver to prepare and fulfill orders and transport artificial grass and supplies from the warehouse to customers. You will load and unload materials and ensure timely, safe deliveries.

Requirements include at least 1 year in a warehouse role, valid driver's license, and the ability to read safety documents. The role includes benefits after 30 days and a chance to work with a proactive warehousing team.

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse experience or comparable work experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tools, equipment and machinery.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Packaging finished products for delivery.
• Preparing documents relating to deliveries.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure proper delivery is complete.
• Ensuring all paperwork/invoices during delivery are properly signed and returned to the warehouse manager.
• Transport product with company truck.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of products and warehouse organization.
• Operating forklift, carpet cutting machine, and company truck.
• Performing preventive maintenance on forklift, carpet cutting machine, and company truck.
• Assist warehouse staff in fulfilling orders when not on deliveries.
• Regular on-site attendance during business hours according to the work schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate/Driver Department: Warehousing

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

• Ability to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders and lift frequently for extended periods.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to eight hours per day.

Work Environment:

• May occasionally work in extreme weather indoors or outdoors.
• May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
• Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
