Job summary

Mutual Trading Co., Inc. seeks a dependable Warehouse Driver to handle door-to-door deliveries from Flower Mound, TX. Your role involves picking orders, maintaining inventory, and supporting receiving with unloading and stocking.

Requirements include at least 1 year of warehousing and 1 year of driving/delivery experience, plus a valid Texas driver’s license. Weekend availability is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience.
• 1 year of driving/delivery experience required.
• 2-4 years of driving/delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 165 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Complete door-to-door deliveries by driving the company truck on assigned routes.
• Document, record, and complete driver logs for deliveries.
• Pick and assemble orders per pick list and stack/organize warehouse pallets.
• Assist receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory checks.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and inventory.
• Coordinate with sales to assemble urgent deliveries for customers.
• Provide logistics support for company events and after-hours needs.
• Participate in weekly warehouse meetings and ad hoc duties as assigned.

Hours:

M-F: 8AM – 5PM; 1 hour lunch; OT may apply

Job Responsibilities And Duties

• Completes door to door deliveries by driving company truck on assigned route.
• Documents, records, and completes driver log when making deliveries.
• Picks and assembles orders as indicated on the pick list.
• Stacks and organizes warehouse pallets.
• Assists receiving with unloading, stocking, and inventory check in a timely manner.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and inventory.
• Coordinates with salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customers.
• Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
• Participates in the weekly warehouse meetings.
• Provide logistics support for Company events and functions outside of normal working hours.
• Performs duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours.
• Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking.
• Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Able to handle and move up to 165 pounds assisted frequently.
• Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours.
• Working Conditions.
• Noise Level: Loud while indoors.

Other Requirements

• Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred.
• Conversational Japanese is a plus.
• Has and maintains a valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed.
• Maintains a positive attitude.
• Works efficiently independently and in a team.
• Adapts to frequent changes in assignments and workload.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience required.
• 1 year of driving/delivery experience required.

Knowledge And Skills

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
• Has strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety procedures.
• Forklift training and/or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferred.
