Job summary

Flooring Services LTD is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate and Driver to support our warehouse operations. This is a full-time, non-exempt position in a fast-paced environment requiring accuracy and strong time management.

You will process, package, and ship orders, receive and store inventory, operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. Forklift certification and prior warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules and order forms.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work with a team or independently.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate/ Driver
Department: Warehouse
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Position type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: We are currently seeking reliable Warehouse Associate and Driver to support our company's warehouse operations. You will have to work well individually and with a team to keep things running smoothly. This is a fast-paced non-temperature-controlled environment that requires accuracy as well as strong time management skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include but are not limited to:

• Process, package and ship or load orders accurately
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory in appropriate locations
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse
• Safely operate equipment and machinery
• Accurately place label/markings to identify materials/orders
• Ability to read production schedule, various order forms and/or requisitions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• To perform this job successfully an individual needs to perform each essential duty accurately and efficiently, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to work in a faced paced environment
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Willingness and ability to work with a team as well as individually
• Ability to communicate effectively inside and outside the company
• Problem solving capabilities
• Reliable and punctual

EDUCATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability and to sit and/or stand for 8-10 hours a day or longer
• Physical stamina to lift 5-50lbs frequently throughout the day
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
