Job summary

Moove is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver (Class A) to support daily deliveries and warehouse operations in Houston, TX. The role combines hands on warehousing with driving responsibilities, requiring safety, accuracy and reliable customer service.

You will load, transport and unload goods, maintain accurate documentation, and operate forklift equipment as needed. A current Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, plus a DOT medical card, are required.

Qualifications

• A Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT medical card required.
• At least one year of CDL Delivery Driver experience.
• At least one year of warehouse experience.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Good customer service skills.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Transport deliveries safely according to DOT regulations.
• Follow daily delivery schedule and optimize routes.
• Load/unload deliveries; lift up to 65 lbs.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Operate forklift and related equipment as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and GEMBA walks weekly.

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change, or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time. All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned.

• Transport deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations
• Follow the daily delivery schedule or coordinates the most efficient deliveries by applying knowledge of customer schedules, peak delivery times and alternate routes
• Safely load/unload deliveries - the ability to lift/move up to 65lbs is required
• Obtain and maintain proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation, including CODs and submit in a timely manner
• Provide good customer service and maintain a professional manner and appearance
• Ensure orders and documentation received are accurate
• Ensure customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management
• Maintain valid commercial driver’s license, endorsements and DOT physical card
• Receive and stock product; repackaging; palletizing
• Perform tank readings, customer pick-ups, LTL shipments.
• Loads, fills and labels containers from bulk according to assignments
• Picks and stages products to be according to the delivery schedule
• Loads and properly secures products in delivery trucks
• Unloads delivery trucks in an efficient manner and stores products in appropriate area
• Completes and submits accurate records of products received and/or filled daily
• Updates products that are loaded on all trucks and utilizes the load/unload slips
• Retrieves and submits packing slips for products received
• Operates forklift, hand truck, pallet and electric jack as needed
• Maintains warehouse area and safety reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Perform cycle counts
• Perform GEMBA walks weekly
