Job summary

Cardinal Health in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Warehouse Associate on the Day shift to assist inbound or outbound activities within our 40-hour work week. You will receive, store and ship products, unload trucks using pallet jacks and ensure accurate handling through our warehouse systems.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for shifts, and flexibility to meet task deadlines. Training provided; environment emphasizes safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.

Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.***Job Summary***The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards.
