Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Warehouse Day Equipment Operator to support daily replenishments, stocking, and pallet put away. The role involves operating reach lifts, order pickers, and forklifts as needed, with a 4-day work week schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and shifts starting at 6:00am.

The pay is $18.50 per hour and emphasizes safe, efficient product flow through the distribution center. As a foundational member, you will work on multiple areas, collaborating with teams or performing duties solo

Qualifications

• Requires ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to lift 10–90 lbs and work in multiple temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
• Maintains a high level of attention to detail in areas such as balers, aisles, racking, floors, and door pits.
• Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes.
• Ensures shipping IDs are applied and cartons/totes marked with truck run and stop numbers.
• Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
• Records amount of materials received or distributed.
• Performs end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintains a clean and orderly workstation and returns supplies to assigned locations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.

Equipment operation from Reach lifts, Order Pickers, Walkie Riders and Forklift will be required as needed. Stocking pick lines and ensuring all items are put to their correct locations. Being able to work in multiple areas with a team or solo as needed (equipment based or non-equipment based).

Position Purpose

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
• Maintains a high level of attention to detail by ensuring that proper attention is given to all areas including but not limited to: balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas as assigned.
• Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes.
• Ensures application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
• Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
• Records amount of materials or items received or distributed.
• Performs end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintains clean and orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves and conveyors, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to approximately 50 to 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
• Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Compensation

$18.50/hour
