Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to support materials handling, order picking, and driver backup. You will learn products, procedures, and industry best practices while contributing to a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include receiving stock, fulfilling orders, and maintaining vehicle logs. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Time management - strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Flexibility - ability to effectively adapt to change.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
• Understand products, capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Keep warehouse and outside areas neat and clean.
• Uphold safe workplace practices.
• Provide backup for drivers and safely deliver to customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle, driver logs and inspection reports.
• Use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
