Job summary

K&M Tire in Grinnell, IA is looking for a Warehouse Employee Backup Driver to unload/load trucks, pull/pick and store tires and products. Working hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm, with safety and accuracy as core requirements.

You will assist Route Truck Drivers, maintain a clean warehouse, and handle inventory movements across locations. The role requires reading/writing, effective communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds; 50 pounds continuously.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in a non climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist loader for trucks.
• Pull, pick, and stock tires/products accurately.
• Maintain organization and safety in the warehouse.
• Support route truck loading and multi-warehouse transfers.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely as needed.
