Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking a delivery and receiving associate in Johnson City, NY. The role involves receiving inbound products, restocking, pulling items with RF guns, staging orders for shipping, and making deliveries using the company vehicle.

You will maintain records, verify condition and accuracy of materials, and ensure customer signatures are obtained. Qualified candidates have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, strong customer service skills, and knowledge

• Accurately check inbound products and confirm shipment against the purchase order.
• Restock inventory neatly and accurately in assigned locations.
• Utilize RF guns to pull products from pallet areas to fulfill orders.
• Stage customer orders at proper dock locations.
• Operate company vehicle to make deliveries per manifest.
• Maintain logs and records and obtain customer signatures.
• Verify delivered material is accurate and in excellent condition.

What you will do:

• Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm the shipment is consistent with the purchase order.
• Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations
• Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to pull product from pallet areas to fulfill customer orders.
• Stage customer orders in an organized manner at the proper dock locations.
• Utilize Company vehicle to make deliveries according to manifest.
• Utilize technology to maintain logs and records, and to obtain customer signature.
• Verify the material that is being delivered is accurate and in excellent condition.

What you will bring:

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climbto perform various duties.
• The ability to drive a commercial vehicle for short and long periods of time.
• Continuous mental and visual attention to stay alert while driving.
• Flexibility and mobility to move in and out of vehicle to load and unload material.

Hours: 7:00AM Start Time

Salary: $20/hr
