Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Auburn, WA. The role involves loading and unloading Raymond West equipment, tracking inventory, and ensuring items are properly identified and tagged.

You will support shop duties to keep facilities in good order and assist technicians with minor repairs as needed. Key duties include dock shipping/receiving, tagging assets, and maintaining organized warehouse areas while following safety procedures and company policies.

Job description

Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading and unloading all Raymond West equipment including taking inventory and storing materials in the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for accurately monitoring all dock movements of product and ensuring that each shipped or received item is properly identified and tagged. Performs various shop duties as assigned to maintain the shop and warehouse facilities in good order.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials and equipment
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and safely (dumping oil, crushing oil filters, disposing spray cans)
  • Shipping and receiving functions at dock
  • Ensure equipment is properly tagged
  • Store equipment such as racking or lift trucks in designated areas
  • Maintain and track warehouse inventory supplies, tools, and materials
  • Clean equipment by steam cleaning
  • Maintain warehouse floors (sweeping, mopping)
  • Maintain renewed and demo aisles, cleaning trucks, lining up and dusting them
  • Empty trash receptacles as needed
  • Assist technicians with minor repairs
  • Deliver and receive parts when needed
  • Keep shop and racking area clean and organized
  • Ensure everything is secured at the end of each day
  • Report all accidents immediately
  • Follow all procedures in the company’s Employee Handbook
  • Follow safety procedures and use good judgment regarding safety
  • Perform miscellaneous jobs as needed
  • Identify ownership of all assets delivered to the dock
  • Properly tag all incoming equipment and follow tagging procedure (racking, lift trucks, batteries, chargers)
  • Complete paperwork, including bill of ladings, and send to proper department
  • Verify all items received match paperwork (enter quantity/serial number, report discrepancies)
  • Ensure all RW assets are stenciled or tagged before leaving dock
  • Communicate with truck drivers and prevent moving of assets from dock area
  • Report damage found on incoming assets to respective department
  • Report to leadership any department that fails to provide timely paperwork for incoming items
  • Verify proper paperwork for shipped assets, matching asset and serial number before loading
  • Ensure safe loading onto trucks following proper procedures
  • Remove obsolete tags from assets prior to shipment
  • Keep dock area clear and refrain from storing assets on dock
  • Report to leadership any outdated paperwork for shipped assets
  • Store equipment/assets in appropriate areas within warehouse
  • Maintain organized inventory of racking, new trucks, batteries, chargers, rental trucks, used trucks, system assets, customer trucks, scrap trucks, lease returns, retail‑ready area, battery storage area, etc.
  • Ensure assets are stored in even rows with proper passageway spacing (15 yards)
  • Ensure covers and panels are kept in place on equipment as required
  • Move and correct assets found in incorrect spots (update system, warehouse)
  • Prevent unauthorized personnel from removing assets or parts
  • Remove batteries from used trucks prior to storing
  • Perform monthly cycle inventories, investigate and correct discrepancies (re‑tag asset, match system)
  • Keep warehouse and lot clean, free of debris, equipment parked in neat rows
  • Complete assigned housekeeping tasks daily

Education / Experience

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay Range

The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
