Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Texas to pick/pack orders, print labels, inspect products, and prepare shipments. The role involves measuring, weighing, counting, and possibly operating a forklift to fulfill customer needs and maintain accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities include documenting order details, labeling shipments, reporting variances, supporting inventory counts, and keeping the work area clean and inspection-ready.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment; ensure correct quantity and type of product.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms/records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes/pallets.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Inspect containers/materials/products per packing specs.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat, orderly work area; keep facility inspection-ready.
• Communicate/report incidents; perform housekeeping; other duties as assigned.

Mark and label shipping boxes or products per DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
