Marmon/Keystone LLC in Spring Valley, IL, is hiring for a Warehouse Associate in a night shift role. You will operate forklifts and overhead cranes, move metal products, and ensure accurate packing and staging for shipments.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to read a tape measure. Overtime may be required; health and retirement benefits are part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, remote control overhead cranes, and other equipment to move pipe, tube, and bar products safely and efficiently.
• Measure, pack, and stage materials for shipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Accurately measure and cut pipe and tubing using automated band saws to meet customer specifications.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Perform inventory checks and maintain warehouse orderliness and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with coworkers to meet deadlines and improve operations.

Warehouse Associate - Metals Distribution

Location: Spring Valley
Job Type: Warehouse Associate
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00pm to 3:30am
Pay: $22.50 plus differential of $1.75

What You'll Do:

• Move with Purpose - Operate forklifts, remote control overhead cranes, and other equipment to move pipe, tube, and bar products safely and efficiently.
• Get Orders Right - Measure, pack, and stage materials for shipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Be Hands-On - Accurately measure and cut pipe and tubing using automated band saws to meet customer specifications.
• Keep Things Safe - Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and ensure a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Stay Organized - Perform inventory checks, and maintain warehouse orderliness and cleanliness.
• Work as a Team - Collaborate with coworkers to meet deadlines and improve operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in warehousing or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure is required.
• Forklift experience preferred and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50.
• Strong attention to detail and good basic math skills
• A team-player mentality with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work overtime if needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
