Job summary

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Suwanee, GA. The role involves receiving, loading, unloading, and moving materials using a forklift, while strictly following safety policies.

A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of warehouse experience are preferred, with forklift certification required or pursued. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• May be required to make deliveries or pick up materials using company vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate helps protect inventory, receives, loads, and unloads materials. He or she must appropriately handle all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace and may need to drive a company vehicle occasionally.The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a warehouse environment. In addition, he or she must have the strength and stamina to perform the duties of this position (standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.) and must have a forklift certification (or is willing to obtain our internal certification). Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, speech, and behavior are all required for this position. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus but not required to be considered.
