Job summary

Brunswick in Sparks, NV is seeking a warehouse associate to handle receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping with a strong customer-service mindset. The role requires accuracy, data entry via WMS, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes adherence to procedures, material handling, and readiness to perform various duties across the distribution center to support timely order fulfillment.

• Locates, picks, packs and moves materials using material handling equipment and maintains equipment as needed.
• Performs order processing and expedites parts when required.
• Loads and unloads trucks if/when assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for a variety of warehousing and distribution center activities ranging from receiving to shipping operations. Responsibilities may include inventory control, expediting, order preparation and documentation for order processing. Must perform well in a team environment and possess a strong bias toward customer service. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

• Ships and receives all parts and packages from vendors/production points that are delivered to receiving dock by various carriers
• Enters, views and verifies data using various Warehouse Management Systems via handheld devices
• Locates, picks, packs and moves materials using material handling equipment and maintains equipment as needed i.e. walkies, hand trucks etc.
• Performs order processing and expedites parts when required
• Loads and unloads trucks if/when assigned
• Performs other warehouse duties as assigned
• All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to work from pick lists and/or work orders
• Must follow procedures and follow directions exactly

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to use computers, communicate effectively and operate in a high-volume high output environment preferred
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility

Working Conditions

Moderate physical demand: often lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs./27 kgs). Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-10 hours) Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-10 hours). Job rotation may be required, where applicable Able to work in a non-AC environment

The anticipated pay range for this position is $19.00, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
