Job summary

Porter Pipe & Supply in DeForest, Wisconsin, is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates for 2nd shift starting at 2:00pm. You will unload trucks, pick and pack orders, and prepare shipping documents while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, safe workspace.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Forklift experience is preferred but not required; we offer a competitive benefits package and shift differential pay to recognize 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and accurately receive merchandise, matching bills of lading to purchase orders.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders onto delivery vehicles.
• Process customer orders, shipping requests, and requisitions with attention to detail.
• Move and organize materials within the warehouse according to company standards.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and proper routing.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Keep warehouse and office areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety standards and perform additional duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of prior warehouse experience.
• Prior forklift experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 50 lbs.
• Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.
• Requires the ability to stand and walk long distances for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and elements, noise, and fumes.
