Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking individuals for a role in Arlington, TX, focused on picking, packing, and boxing products for delivery. This position requires adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Candidates should possess average math skills and the ability to handle heavy items. Previous forklift experience is preferred. The working schedule is 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

What will you do?

In this role, you will pick, pack, and box products for delivery to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify products in location through labels or stamps.
• Verify correct product has been picked/packed.
• Pick various machined products from warehouse shelf and floor locations.
• Pack, box, and load various machined products.
• Operate powered industrial truck to pick/pull the product.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Maneuver large parts using available resources.
• Work in other areas or departments as assigned.
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Key Competencies

• Average math skills, simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English.
• Physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.
• Previous experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s timekeeping policy and all other company policies.
• Consistently stand for an entire shift.
• Knowledge of basic warehouse functions is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Ability to determine proper shelf location from routing ticket.
• Accuracy.
• Reliability.
