Job summary

WM is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Alabama. Under direct supervision, you will receive inbound materials, assemble mail-back kits, load and unload vehicles, and perform daily housekeeping. The job requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Base pay is $26.76 per hour with a boot allowance of $250. A High School Diploma or GED and forklift certification are preferred, with on-site shifts from 9am to 7:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
• 1 year of work experience, preferably in a plant/warehouse environment with a safety focus
• 6 months experience as a certified forklift driver and basic maintenance

Responsibilities

• Assembles mail back and other product kits according to established procedures.
• Packs orders for shipment to ensure efficient use of materials and safety of items in transit
• Unloads, inspects, and reports status of inbound materials
• Stocks pick and rack locations to meet projected demand requirements
• Operates forklifts and performs preventative maintenance on forklifts as required
• Maintains a clean and safe working area according to WMHS and NAID standards
• Demonstrates the ability to observe safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions
