Job summary

Horizons Staffing is seeking hardworking Warehouse Associates in the Saxonburg area for direct hire opportunities with our client, a global leader in the grocery industry. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and a stable full-time schedule.

1st shift available; pay ranges from $20.76 to $23.75 per hour depending on shift, with benefits offered. Duties include pulling stock orders, handling freezer and cold storage work, labeling, packing, and using the computer system to track deliveries.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and teamwork required.
• Customer service experience a plus.
• Comfortable working in freezer and cold storage environments.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary (not on a bus line).

Responsibilities

• Pull and fill stock orders for outgoing deliveries.
• Work in freezer, cold storage, and dry storage areas.
• Label and verify incoming freight counts.
• Package finished product for shipping.
• Use computer system to locate products and stock deliveries.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Move and pack pallets efficiently.

Job Duties: Warehouse Associate

• Pull and fill stock orders for outgoing deliveries.
• Working in Freezer, Cold Storage and Dry Storage as of the Distribution Center to complete daily tasks
• Separate, label, and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
• Package finished product for shipping.
• Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
• Maintain Clean Work area.
• Efficiently move/pack pallets of product
