Job summary

Aqua-Flo Supply in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, transfer, and stock materials, support the Branch Manager, and assist Sales staff in serving customers. You will load/unload deliveries, perform cycle counts, operate forklift, and help maintain a clean, organized yard and warehouse.

Occasional driving to deliver or pick up material may be required. The role requires high-volume warehouse experience, HS diploma, attention to detail, and a positive, professional

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment.
• Delivery driving with customer interaction is a plus.
• Knowledge of landscape, irrigation and utilities is a plus.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse, yard, and receiving area are organized and clean.
• Load and unload deliveries and receipts.
• Receive inventory accurately (physical and electronic).
• Transfer/distribute material and manage paperwork with accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, and forklift; maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Overview

Aqua-Flo Supply is a leading regional distributor of landscape, irrigation and utilities products. We supply these products to contractors, municipalities, gardeners and homeowners, and pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and product technical knowledge. Every Aqua-Flo Supply team member is an important part of this mission.

Position

This position involves working in the warehouse and yard, receiving and transferring material and providing support to the Branch Manager and Sales associates ensuring their focus is dedicated to helping customers. Primary responsibility is to receive and distribute material, and maintain the warehouse / yard organization and cleanliness.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse, yard, and receiving area are organized and maintain cleanliness
• Load and unload deliveries and receipts
• Receive inventory physically and electronically with excellent accuracy
• Handle the transfer/distribution of material and paperwork with excellent accuracy
• Perform accurate cycle counts
• Maintain good condition of and operate equipment, delivery trucks, and forklift
• Pull orders and transfers from warehouse and yard and complete computer transactions with excellent accuracy
• Receive incoming warehouse and yard material and complete computer transactions with excellent accuracy
• Physically stock incoming warehouse and yard material for optimal use of space
• Assist in training Warehouse Associate I and Drivers
• Perform all Driver duties on occasion, including:
  • Drive company vehicles to make customer deliveries and pick up material from suppliers with excellent safety precautions and care for company equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of and supplies in vehicles, and reporting all issues and damage

Requirements

• Experience: High volume warehouse or distribution experience required. Delivery driving with customer interaction a plus.
• Education: High School or GED
• Landscape, irrigation and utility knowledge is a plus.
• Must have very high attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive / Professional / Problem solver
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
