Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Associates in Phoenix, AZ for a position that starts temporary and may convert to permanent. The role offers weekly pay and a path to a full-time career in a clean, well-run facility.

Pay starts at $17.00 per hour with a $0.50 increase at 90 days if converted to full time. Schedule is Mon-Fri with every other Saturday, 9:00am-5:30pm, in a safety-focused environment handling aerospace components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance guidelines.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, BOLs).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
