Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Madison, WI to safely operate a stand-up forklift, pull and prepare orders, and use RF devices to sort and scan items. You will receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm. The role supports a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and capable of working with little supervision.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and accident-free work area; adhere to PPE and safety rules.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.


• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.


• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.


• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.


• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.


• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.


• High attention to detail.


• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.


• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.


• Self‑starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.


• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.


• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Pay Range:

$17.41 - $26.11

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
