Job summary

Royal Manufacturing in Houston is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the day shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). You will receive, store, move, pick, stage and ship materials, while keeping precise inventory and a safe, organized warehouse. Forklift operation is routine and you will use a Warehouse Management System.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months in a warehouse, with basic math and computer skills. Drug screening and legal work eligibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Scan inventory transactions using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform inventory transfers, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories.
• Store materials in designated warehouse locations with proper stock rotation.
• Supply raw materials and finished goods to production as required.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area following 5S principles and PPE requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations; report discrepancies and issues.
• Assist with warehouse organization, labeling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.

The Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, picking, staging, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized warehouse. This position regularly operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to support production and customer deliveries.

What You'll Do

• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or process issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with warehouse organization, labeling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work overtime and weekends as required to meet business needs.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the workday.
• Work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures.

What We're Looking For
