Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring a Part-time Warehouse Associate for our MOSL7 Public Store located at 135 Hamilton Industrial Ct, Wentzville, MO 63385. The role involves handling inventory, processing orders, and occasional local deliveries.

Hours total up to 28 per week with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding and performance goals. The position requires a driver's license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll not only handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility, but you'll dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 135 Hamilton Industrial Ct, Wentzville, MO 63385. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

• Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory
