Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a warehouse associate in Victorville to safely operate a forklift and related equipment, ensuring efficient loading, unloading and stocking of items. You will support customers and CSRs while maintaining accurate transactions and paperwork.

The role requires 1+ year of warehouse and forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. In-house forklift certification is expected within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience.
• 1+ year of industrial forklift experience strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to obtain forklift certification in‑house within 30 days.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift and warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product without damage.
• Receive items per procedure and stock in designated locations.
• Maintain inventory and prepare cycle counts.
• Complete Will Calls and related paperwork entries accurately and timely.
• Wear proper PPE and uniform during each shift.
• Perform pre and post shift forklift inspections and report concerns.
• Assist customers and CSRs as needed.
• Follow SOPs, processes and company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Position Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift and additional warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks.
• Ensure all items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locations.
• Maintain Inventory and Prepare Cycle Counts.
• Complete Will Calls.
• Responsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and transaction entries.
• Proper PPE and uniform must be worn at all times during each shift.
• Maintain warehouse and forklift by following good housekeeping and safety procedures including pre and post shift forklift inspections. Alert the manager of any concerns immediately.
• Assist Customers and CSRs as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policies.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Pay Range

• $17.00 – $19.50 per hour.
