Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Vacaville, CA. You will compile orders, replenish merchandise, and assist customers both on the sales floor and to their vehicles.

The role requires forklift operation, adherence to safety policies, and strong teamwork. We value friendly, organized, and hard-working individuals who deliver excellent service, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a safe, clean store.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Warehouse and customer service experience.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Forklift certifications required by Floor & Decor.
• Experience with heavy machinery preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–60 lbs occasionally and 20–30 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Compile orders and replenish merchandise on the sales floor or to customers’ vehicles.
• Check inventory and orders; restock showroom shows floor.
• Interact with customers and provide above-and-beyond service.
• Operate a forklift and maintain safe work practices.
• Keep work area clean and safe.

Pay Range$17.00 - $20.70Purpose:As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities will be compiling orders and replenishing and moving merchandise, whether it be on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle. Your day will be spent checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers and operating a forklift. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.Physical/Sensory RequirementsAbility exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
