Job summary

Imperial Brady in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, locate and ship merchandise in a fast-paced environment. You will use pick tickets or an RF scanner, build pallets, and ensure accurate loading and unloading.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of warehouse experience, including ride-on electric pallet jack use, and can lift 50+ pounds. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Select and locate the merchandise, ensure warehouse cleanliness, loading and unloading.
• Fulfill customer orders by using pick tickets or an RF Scanner.
• Efficiently build the pallet and ensure skids are brought to the correct locations/trucks.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Review incoming material orders/'pick tickets'.
• Locate materials on shelves in the warehouse.
• Deliver items to the loading area to be wrapped and put on a delivery truck.

Warehouse Associates select and locate the merchandise, ensure warehouse cleanliness, loading and unloading, inbound/outbound. Fulfills customer orders by using pick tickets or an RF Scanner, efficiently building the pallet, and ensuring skids are brought to the correct locations/trucks. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

This is a DAY shift position, and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, or until the daily work is completed.

You will:

• Review incoming material orders/'pick tickets.'
• Locate materials on shelves in the warehouse
• Place materials on the order picker, forklift, or pallet jack
• Deliver items to the loading area to be wrapped and put on a delivery truck
• Unload trucks
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Work in a collaborative, team environment

You have:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1 year minimum of warehouse experience
• 1 year of high-volume order selecting
• 1 year of experience with a ride-on electric pallet jack
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
