Job summary

USSI Global in Melbourne, FL is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storing, and shipping activities at our Suntree facility. Two shifts are available: 9:30a–6:30p and 12:00p–9:00p, with pay at $20.00 per hour.

The role requires at least one year of warehouse or logistics experience and a background check and drug screen. You will inspect, move, and stage materials, verify quantities, and maintain accurate inventory while following safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

• A minimum of one year experience working in a warehouse/logistics setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and safely store them.
• Utilize material-handling equipment as needed and ensure accuracy of quantities and part numbers.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and report equipment issues.

Required:

• A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a warehouse/logistics setting is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse
• Safely store materials in designated locations.
• Safely utilize material-handling equipment as needed
• Pull and stage materials for production, shipping, or customer orders.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and product identification against paperwork or system records.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies to management.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for shipment as required.
• Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Inspect material-handling equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, and computer transactions accurately.
• Communicate material shortages, damaged goods, or other issues to appropriate personnel.
