Job summary

Superior Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a safety-focused Warehouse Associate (Industrial/Environmental) to join our team in Tennessee. Responsibilities include hazardous waste removal, sorting and baling nonhazardous material, and preparing items for recycling.

You must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend frequently, and stand for long periods in a warehouse setting. We value teamwork, organization, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to collaborate in a warehouse setting.
• Strong organizational skills to complete forms, records, and reports.
• Attention to detail is a must for inspecting products and keeping records.
• Must be safety conscious and able to pass screenings and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Hazardous waste removal from the facility.
• Sort, cut, bale nonhazardous material for recycling operations.
• Separate processed materials into appropriate recycling bins.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and bend repeatedly.
• Record keeping and maintaining clean work areas.

Environmental Services, a Division of Superior Environmental Services is looking for a safety-focused waste removal Warehouse Associate(Industrial/Environmental) to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Be Doing

Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:

• Hazardous waste removal from the facility
• Sorting, cutting, baling, etc. nonhazardous material to prepare for recycling operations.
• Separate processed materials into appropriate bins for recycling.
• Will need to be able to lift 50 pounds, sustain frequent bending, and stand for an extended period of time.
• The work environment includes an open warehouse, minimal noise levels, occasional fragrances, and manageable temperatures depending on the season
• Record keeping

Qualifications

What skills we are looking for:

• Team player
• Excellent organization skills to be able to complete various forms, records, and reports
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products and keeping detailed records

Essential Functional Requirements

• Must be able to work full time, extended shifts of up to 12 hours
• Hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on dutyli>
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic
• Ensure equipment and company property is maintained in proper condition
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening
• The use of safety gear is required
• All necessary Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves/sleeves, and retractable box cutters will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment
