Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Taunton, Massachusetts is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a team‑driven, safety‑minded operation. The role offers $20.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00 am–2:30 pm) and weekly pay, plus medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) plan starting at 30 days.

You will work with furniture products and use equipment like forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Six months of related warehouse experience required (one year or more preferred).
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up & sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) and maintain them; intermediate skill.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Basic English reading, math skills for safety, work instructions, policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Data entry into WMS systems.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Professional relationship building across all levels.
• Team and self-management skills.
• Fast-paced environment adaptability.
• Multi-tasking, organization, time-management, detail orientation, excellent follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure correct scanning; train dock employees on procedures; secure facility at shift end; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping; perform picking and packing; check for product or container damage.
• Perform assigned tasks per location policies and procedures, including material handling within logical transactions.
• Execute material moves with associated physical/logical transactions.
• Participate in workgroup and team activities for self-improvement and warehouse operations improvement.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
